For about a month and a half now, we've been staring at the Summerfest lineup with a lot of bands called TBA staring back – including the former Ozzy Osbourne Amp headliner slot on the Fourth of July. This morning, however, all those To Be Announceds have turned into acts, as Summerfest dropped the rest of its grounds stage headliners and its final American Family Insurance Amphitheater main act.
As for the former Ozzy spot, fellow heavy metal rockers Megadeth have graduated from opening act to main act, with Papa Roach, Pop Evil and Badflower serving as special guests for a whole day of rock beginning at the Amp at 4 p.m. on the Fourth of July. Makes sense. Tickets for that show will go on sale beginning Friday, May 31 at noon at the usual spots: the Summerfest website and Ticketmaster.
Then there's the rest of the grounds stage headliners, listed below:

And now that should be just about everyone when it comes to Summerfest headliner announcements. The only thing left to do now is begin the Big Gig, which will take place June 28 through July 7 (with an off-day on July 1). Get pumped for that – and stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for updates, reviews and more during the rest of the summer festival season.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
