Summerfest is officially here, with more than 600 acts of all sizes will make their way to Henry Maier Festival Park over the course of the next three weekends to perform at 10 main stages along Milwaukee’s lakefront.
However, there’s somehow even more music than what’s listed on the official Summerfest website. As always, a handful of independent, DIY stages will also bring music daily to showcase their talent in front of thousands of festival goers. While they may not officially be on the sprawling Summerfest lineup, these artists are still getting the opportunity to perform at one of the world’s largest music festivals. Here’s who, and where, you can catch these special intimate shows around the Big Gig grounds this year:
