Over the past six years, Summerfest admission prices increased only once, from $12 to $15 on weeknights and weekends.

"However, with this adjustment we also lowered the price of daytime admission to $8, and have kept these prices consistent now for the third year in a row," says Summerfest's John Boler.

Summerfest prices 2003-'08:

2003: $12 at all times
2004: $12 at all times
2005: $12 at all times

2006: $8 Weekdays noon -- 4 p.m.; $15 Weekday evenings after 4 p.m. and weekends

2007: $8 Weekdays noon -- 4 p.m.; $15 Weekday evenings after 4 p.m. and weekends

2008: $8 Weekdays noon -- 4 p.m.; $15 Weekday evenings after 4 p.m. and weekends

"Summerfest patrons also have the opportunity to get into the festival free every single day from noon until 3 p.m. via various admission promotions," says Boler.
