Amanda Buhrman, owner of the pop-up bakery and mobile dessert bar, Sweetly Baked, has announced the grand opening date for her new dessert bar just inside the Marshall Building at 207 E. Buffalo St. in the Historic Third Ward.

Guests are invited to attend the opening, which takes place on Friday, April 19 with a special Gallery Night party from 5 to 9 p.m. During the festivities, guests can view and purchase artwork from Jeff Redmond of Scout Gallery, revel in a stunning floral installation by La Tulipe and raise a complimentary glass of sparkling wine in celebration of the new cafe.  The cafe will also have a selection of specialty cocktails, mocktails, desserts, coffee and tea available for purchase.

But the Friday celebration is just the start.

Celebrate 420 Day

On Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests can celebrate 420 Day with an assortment of infused treat specials priced at just $4.20 each. Customers who plan their arrival for the fortuitous time of 4:20 p.m. can also take part in a complimentary infused mocktail toast. Be sure to check out the “Explore the Ward” adult scavenger hunt taking place throughout the Historic Third Ward.
