When former Brass Tap owners Nick and April Marking passed their Greenfield business on to new owners, they promised a series of beer gardens this summer, and now two of them have been announced.

The Tap @ The Yard in Bayshore, opens at Bayshore Town Center, 5800 N. Bayshore Dr., Glendale, on May 12, and the Waukesha location, at The Shoppes at Fox River, 1160 W. Sunset Dr., Waukesha, is due to open a week earlier.

The new beer gardens will each have 36 tap lines, as well as live music on Fridays and Saturdays, family fun Sundays and trivia on Thursdays. There will be food trucks on site, too, as well as the food options at the outdoor mall.

Up at Bayshore, The Tap will be open during all summer events, including the Sounds of Summer concert series, Family Flicks movie nights, Bayshore Game Days and more.

“The Tap will be the premier beverage spot for all the outdoor events happening in The Yard at Bayshore,” said Nick Marking. “We look forward to serving up craft brews to the entire North Shore community.”

Hours are Wednesday-Thursday, 4-9 p.m.; Friday, 4-10; Saturday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday, 11-7.

“Wisconsin knows a thing or two about a good brew, so we are thrilled to welcome The Tap to Bayshore,” added Mario Mireles, Sr. General Manager, Bayshore.

“We look forward to working with the team at The Tap as they serve up unique craft beer and beverages for guests enjoying all the fun, open-air experiences that Bayshore has to offer.”
