Judging by the temperatures outside, spring has finally sprung in Milwaukee. But bah, who needs spring when summer is obviously where it's at – especially with all the free summer live music series around town. That includes Tosa Tonight, which is already looking ahead to summer by announcing its lineup for the 2023 season.
Hosted on Wednesday nights – except for one Tuesday for the Fourth of July – at the Rotary Performance Pavilion, 1190 N. 70th St., Tosa Tonight will bring another stellar batch of music duos to the neighborhood, complete with food and drink from area restaurants, bars and venues. The evenings start the show at 6 p.m., with the main act taking the stage at 7:30 p.m.
So, with no further ado, here's the lineup coming to Tosa Tonight this summer season:
- June 21 – Miles Nielsen & The Rusted Hearts with Wire & Nail
- June 28 – The People Brothers Band with Genevieve Heyward Band
- July 4 (Tuesday) – Britishmania with Jackson Park Orchestra
- July 12 – Willy Porter Band with Hayward Williams
- July 19 – Platinum with Respect! A Tribute to the Queen of Soul
- July 26 – The Astronomers with Tigera
- Aug. 2 – Welshly Arms with Me Like Bees
- Aug. 9 – De La Buena with Juan Carlos Munguia
- Aug. 16 – Doolin' with Cassie and Maggie
In case of a rain-out, the make-up date is set for Wednesday, Aug. 23.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
