We've had so much less this summer than expected thanks to COVID-19; but at least we're going to get more of the Traveling Beer Garden. The suds-on-wheels summer favorite announced today that it will extend its tasty tour through late September.

The Pass Me A Pint Tour's final stop at Juneau Park, beginning on Aug. 12, will now run all the way through Sept. 27 – an almost three-week extension. Hours for the beer garden stop will adjust, however, after Labor Day.

The Pass Me A Pint Tour can currently be found at McCarty Park in West Allis through Sunday, Aug. 9.

Meanwhile, the Roll Out the Barrel Tour will add three more stops to its ale-slinging adventure. Instead of having last call for the season Aug. 5-23 at Greenfield Park in West Allis, the beer garden will make an extra stop at Wisconsin Avenue Park on Aug. 26 through Sept. 7, followed by two final weekend sessions at Center Street Park on Sept. 12-13 and Cooper Park on Sept. 19-20.

While the beer gardens are outdoors and therefore less susceptible to spreading COVID-19, the Traveling Beer Garden still asks that attendees wear a mask when interacting with employees, going to the bathroom or while standing in line for your next round. Please maintain social distancing while enjoying your brews as well.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
