Looks like Bay View is trading curly fries for a credit union. According to an article from Urban Milwaukee, the Arby’s restaurant, 115 W. Oklahoma Ave., is proposed to be demolished to make space for a University of Wisconsin Credit Union.

The credit union bought the property in December and filed last week to build a 6,000-square-foot building at the location site.

If approved, this will be the credit union's 30th location and only the second branch in the city of Milwaukee. The other is on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. On May 5, a new branch will open in suburban Franklin, with plans to open two others in Elm Grove and Greenfield.
