You may have seen Matt Wessel perform the national anthem at the NBA playoffs last season at the Bradley Center.  The former Bucks PR guy and current Marquette University staffer nailed it.  It’s a tough song to sing, and in front of a sold-out house, he truly did a stellar version.

This month, Wessel’s got a collection of Christmas songs that showcase his vocal, piano and songwriting talent.  Matt goes to (and sings at) my church, and I’ve known him for several years.  He’s a great guy, and flies somewhat under the Milwaukee music radar.

So, if you’re searching for some new Christmas tunes to get you in the sprit these final days of Advent, download some of Matt’s new stuff.  His tunes are festive, local and original.

 Merry, merry!
