Widespread Panic is coming to Milwaukee – no, we mean that in a good way as the popular jam rock band is returning to the Riverside Theater for not just one in-person concert but four in-person concerts in October.

The group – which last came to the Riverside in October of 2019 for a trio of shows – will take over the Downtown venue this year starting Thursday, Oct. 21 through Sunday, Oct. 24 for four 8 p.m. concerts, with the doors opening at 6:30 p.m. each night.

Tickets for all four shows – which include single-night tickets as well as four-night passes and limited Hilton hotel packages – will go on sale beginning at noon on Friday, April 9, at the Pabst Theater Group's website. There is a four-ticket limit. And while there's no knowing what the state of the COVID-19 pandemic will be come fall, the Pabst Theater Group intends to follow any preventative protocols still recommended by city and state health officials when the shows take the stage. Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for (fingers crossed) more live music announcements – and be sure to get vaccinated so we can back to a concert-filled normal sooner than later!

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
