Ray’s Wine & Spirits is again teaming with Indiana’s 3 Floyds Brewing for the sixth annual Wuckfinter beer bash in the Wauwatosa store parking lot, 8930 W. North Ave.
This year’s event – with WarPigs Brewery, too – takes place Sunday, Feb. 25 from noon until 5 p.m. Admission is free.
The event started off as a middle finger to winter in 2019 – named for a special annual 3 Floyds imperial stout release (there's a podcast about it here) – and has become a much-anticipated event, with beer tastings, great food, great brews, music and more.
The event returned in-person in 2022 after a virtual year during COVID.
“Born out of foolish conversations with friends over a bevy of beverages, Wückfinter has been an exercise in addressing cabin fever since 2019,” notes the event page.
In addition to beer, cocktails and food (details below), there will be merch for sale and DJs from RushMor Records providing the music.
Earn a free can of 3 Floyds Turbo Reaper if you get up on stage and show everyone your best air guitar to "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" by Blue Öyster Cult.
This year there will also be an all-new Wheel of Wuck fundraiser for Hope House of Milwaukee. Donate $5 to spin the wheel and you'll get a "mystery prize" from 3 Floyds. Proceeds benefit Hope House's efforts to end homelessness and boost area communites.
