Win or lose – though considering we're playing the lowly Pirates, it better be the former – tonight will be worth celebrating for Brewers fans as the team will hit the franchise's 100 million total fans in attendance mark, complete with a special limited-time ticket deal to ring in the occasion.

Available exclusively from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31 through midnight on Thursday, Sept. 1, the Brewers will offer tickets for any September or October weekday (Monday through Thursday) home game for just $6. The tickets will be for seats in the loge and terrace bleacher sections, with fans able to buy up to eight tickets for each game. That's not all, though, as each $6 ticket also comes pre-loaded with $6 to spend toward food, drink, other concessions or Brew Crew merch at American Family Field.

The Brewers all-time attendance mark, beginning in 1969 with the franchise's founding in Seattle and including postseason appearances, currently stands at 99,981,656. The team is expected to break 100 million total fans in attendance with tonight's home game against the Pirates.

"This milestone is a tremendous testament to the passion that Brewers fans have for their team, and we are grateful for all one hundred million of them," said Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger, in a release. "We have always said that Brewers fans over-deliver in their support of the team, and the best evidence of that is the sea of fans who fill American Family Field all year."

As for what's happening on the field, with just about a month left in the season, the Brewers are currently six games back of the St. Louis Cardinals for command of the NL Central – but just a game and a half back of the San Diego Padres for the final wild card spot in the postseason. So here's to cheering the Brew Crew back into the playoffs during this final stretch – and here's to a good start toward the 200 million attendance mark.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
