It took a lot longer than we may have hoped, but Brewers manager Craig Counsell finally scored his 563rd win on Sunday afternoon, tying Phil Garner for the team's all-time record for managerial wins. And to ring in the impressive franchise feat, here's another win: the Brewers and Miller Lite will release thousands of discount tickets for an upcoming home series. 

For next week's four-game spat against the St. Louis Cardinals on June 20-23, 5,000 tickets for each game will be offered at the low and all-too-fitting price of $5.63. The discounted tickets – limited to eight per game per person – will go on sale on a first come, first serve basis starting Tuesday, June 14 at 10 a.m. at the Brewers website, the American Family Field box office and over the phone at (800) 933-7890. The deal will end until the tickets sell out or at midnight on Tuesday, June 14. 

"Craig has set a high bar leading the Brewers to four consecutive postseason appearances and tying the franchise record for wins," said Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger, in a release. "We greatly appreciate our long-time partner, Molson Coors, for helping fans share in this milestone with a celebratory ticket offer."

Over the course of his 563 wins in Milwaukee, Counsell has become the third-longest active tenured manager with the same team in the MLB and has guided the Brewers to a franchise-record four-straight postseason appearances – a run that includes two NL Central titles and an NLCS appearance. Safe to say his hire all those years ago back in 2015 paid off – and now it quite literally is for fans.
