Can't wait for the start of the 2024 baseball season?! Well, you're going to have to a day longer than expected, as the Brewers announced that, due to inclement weather in the forecast, Milwaukee's season opener has been postponed.

The Brewers were originally scheduled to start their 2024 campaign on Thursday, March 28, at 12:10 p.m. on the road against the New York Mets. Unfortunately, thanks to the projected forecast, the season opener has been moved to the following afternoon: Friday, March 29, with first pitch scheduled for 12:40 p.m. at Citi Field in New York.

The move makes Friday an even bigger sports day for Milwaukeeans, with the Brewers throwing out the first pitch on their 2024 season in the afternoon and the Marquette Golden Eagles playing in the Sweet Sixteen later that night.

Thankfully, opening day for the Brewers at American Family Field isn't going anywhere. No matter the weather outside, the Brewers will still make their home debut on Tuesday, April 2 at 3:10 p.m. against the Minnesota Twins. For more information on tickets and game day, visit the Brewers website

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
