The curtain is about to fall on the Brewers' 2016 season, which despite the losing record and trades of veterans has actually been fairly exciting, filled with savvy team promotions and offering glimpses of promising young players that suggest the baseball future may be bright.
The Brewers have their final homestand at Miller Park this week, culminating with the Give-Back Game on Sunday. Milwaukee, which has gone 11-7 so far in September on the strength of some of the league's best starting and relief pitching, takes on the division rival Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds.
There are plenty of reasons to show up for one of the remaining games, particularly the free stuff and fun events! Some features include Fan Appreciation Weekend, a Brewers 2017 magnetic schedule giveaway, scratch-off card giveaway and the first-ever "Give-Back Game."
Additionally, throughout the final games, relief pitcher and semi-amateur comedian Tim Dillard will be creating comedic content, interacting and engaging with fans and keeping everyone laughing as a temporary member of the Brewers' social media team.
Below are the highlights of Milwaukee's last Miller Park homestand.
