There’s a new spot to try out for brunch this weekend.
Good City Brewing, 2108 N. Farwell Ave., will launch an all-day brunch menu beginning Sunday, Nov. 13. The menu, which will feature a combination of savory and sweet items will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Menu items created by Chef Guy Davies will include a variety of egg dishes including an English muffin topped with sauteed portabella mushrooms, fried egg, parmesan and black truffle oil ($11), smoked eel with a Japanese style Tamagoyaki omelette topped with roasted nori, sambal and sticky unagi sauce ($14) and both classic eggs Benedict ($12) and smoked salmon eggs Benedict ($13).
Meanwhile, a vegan tofu curry scramble features vadouvan French curry, peppers, peas and fresh herbs ($9).
The Big Brewery Breakfast will include grilled sausage, Canadian bacon, roasted tomato, Detail Porter baked beans, toast or an English muffin and eggs to order for $15. Meanwhile, "The Lot," an Aussie-style breakfast burger will feature a half pound beef patty, aged white cheddar, beets, grilled pineapple, lettuce, tomato, pickles and a fried egg with Sriracha Russian and garlic herb sauce on a Sciortino’s brioche bun ($16).
On the sweeter side, diners can enjoy a raspberry crepe with sweet cream cheese filling and raspberry compote or any number of ice cream floats featuring Sassy Cow ice cream.
Brunch cocktails include a beer mojito, beermosa and a beerymary.
