While some of us (read: me) refuse to believe that the Milwaukee summer is ending, it’s time to start thinking about fall, and Deer District is ready to dive into all things autumn.
On Wednesday, Deer District BID 53 announced that their Fall Fest will take place on the plaza outside of Fiserv Forum on the morning of Saturday, September 7th. From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be fall activities for the whole family in the heart of Downtown.
It will be a busy day in Deer District, as the Deer District 5K is also set to take place that morning, followed by Fall Fest at the finish line of the race. The BID is partnering with local non-profit Arts @ Large for chalk painting on the plaza, as well as Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, who are bringing their Wonder Wagon to the front of the arena. There will also be pumpkin painting, local vendors and kid-themed programming, as well.
In addition to the fall festivities, the establishments of Deer District will be offering fall-themed specials for the day. The best part? It’s all free to attend!
If you’re interested in registering for the Deer District 5K, there’s still time to sign up here. You can also learn more about Fall Fest at the Deer District website.
