The Brewers in-game production crew may want to hop on iTunes; they'll need a new copy of "Hell's Bells."

The AC/DC song will be blaring before the ninth inning at Miller Park this season as the Brewers agreed to terms with longtime San Diego closer Trevor Hoffman on a one-year contract for next season.

Hoffman, 41, is Major League Baseball's all-time saves leader with 554. Last season, he converted 30 of 34 save opportunities for a woeful Padres team.

According to reports by the Associated Press and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the deal is worth $6 million and includes up to $1.5 million in incentives.

The move was big for Brewers General Manager Doug Melvin. He had lost his closer from last season's 90-victory team and still could lose Brian Shouse, one of his most reliable bullpen arms. Eric Gagne is expected to leave via free agency, too, making rebuilding the bullpen a top off-season priority.

The team will not formally announce the signing until Hoffman undergoes a physical next week in Los Angeles.
