Have you ever wondered what burgers inspired by the unique palates of chefs around the city would taste like?
Well, you can find out soon. Beginning June 21, Merriment Social will be rolling out a burger series inspired by the favorite burger styles of a variety of Milwaukee chefs.
Considering the burger at Merriment Social is arguably one of the best in the city, we're pretty excited to see what they have in store.
The promotion, which will run during happy hour – Tuesday through Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. – will feature a special burger each week for just $5.
Burgers will be inspired by local chefs including Justin Carlisle and Matt Haase of Ardent, Thomas Hauck of c.1880 and Karl Ratzsch, Paul Zerkel of Goodkind, Cole Ersel of Wolf Peach, Dan Van Rite and Daniel Jacobs of Dandan, Dave Swanson of Braise, Aaron Patin of Iron Grate Barbeque Co., Shay Linkus of The Vanguard, Mitch Ciohon of Gypsy Taco, Gregory Leon of Amilinda and more.
Just to give you a sneak peek at what to expect, one of the burgers will be inspired by chefs Kurt Fogle and Joe McCormick of Bass Bay Brewhouse. It will be called "The McJoegle" and will feature a quarter pound beef patty topped with onion rings, cheddar, barbeque sauce, scallion cream cheese and bacon.
The first featured burger will roll out on Tuesday, June 21 and be featured through Saturday, June 25. Burgers will only be available between 4 and 6 p.m.
