October is right around the corner and that means it’s almost time for postseason baseball. And with the Brewers scheduled to embark on the first game of the Wild Card round on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at American Family Field, it’s time to grab your tickets and get ready for some serious baseball.
But that’s not all. From the first round through the World Series, fans can also look forward to various new food options to enjoy while cheering the Brewers to victory. And yes, there’s more to come as the postseason progresses.
Eat this!
Come hungry. Black Shoe Hospitality will be rolling out two new offerings available during the first round of the postseason.
The Popper Dog features a breaded, fried hot dog topped with onion cream cheese spread, nacho cheese, pickled jalapenos, bacon and everything bagel seasoning. Guests can get their fix at Topped Dog stands in Sections 110 and 208.
The Chicken Bacon Ranch Melt showcases chopped fried chicken, bacon, cheddar and ranch aioli served on telera bread. The sandwich will be available at Chicken stands in Sections 112, 118 and 123.
There’s also something new in the 3rd Street Market Hall Annex. Kompali will be serving Birria Tacos during the first round of the postseason. The tacos, which will be served two per order will be stuffed with slow simmered brisket and served with consomme for dipping.
Foodservice partner Delaware North will also introduce two new items designed for big appetites (or sharing). Both will be available throughout the postseason.
The first is a brand new 2-foot Nacho Box featuring a literal two-foot box filled with a bed of tortilla chips, pulled chicken, fresh pico, scallions, jalapenos and sour cream. Guests will find the oversized nacho boxes in Sections 211, 226, 413 and 435.
The second is the Triple Play featuring two bratwurst, cheese curds and French fries. Get your fix in Sections 110, 127, 213 and 224.
