After months of work, Milwaukee Pride – which is the parent organization of PrideFest – launched a digital Health & Wellness space in an effort to connect the LGBTQ+ community with much-needed services even though the festival is canceled for 2021.

The Health & Wellness space is usually on the PrideFest grounds and serves 45,000 people annually.

“After two years of no PrideFest, it’s very important to maintain visibility and continue to serve the community,” said Wes Shaver, President, Milwaukee Pride, Inc. “The digital Health & Wellness space amplifies the resources and organizations that are available to help folks in their time of need. "

The purpose of the digital Health & Wellness area is to showcase organizations' programs, services, people and resources that serve the LGBTQ+ community as well as other underserved and underrepresented groups.

"This is the perfect opportunity to adapt one of our most valued festival experiences to a digital, accessible and meaningful new platform," says Shaver.
