Just like the number of colors in the rainbow, Rainbow Summer will host seven nights of free outdoor entertainment. The fun takes place on the Marcus Center grounds, 929 N. Water St., from Monday, July 14, through Sunday, July 20.
Presented by Marcus Performing Arts Center (MPAC) and Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21, Rainbow Summer will feature performances by musical artists from numerous genres, food trucks, activities and more.

- Tuesday, July 15 - The Brass Queens
- Wednesday, July 16 - Digable Planets
- Thursday, July 17 - Chicago Latin Groove
- Friday, July 18 - Fool House – The Ultimate '90s Party
- Saturday, July 19 - Family Day (more info below)
- Sunday, July 20 - Milwaukee Police Band
Performances Monday through Friday will begin at 7 p.m; Saturday’s Family Day activities begin at 3:00 p.m. and continue with performances at 3:15 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday’s performance begins at 2 p.m.
Family Day on Saturday, July 19, will include Soul Spin from 3 to 7 p.m.; Kids Boogie Down Taylor Swift Dance Party from 4 to 7 p.m.; bubble playtime beginning at 4 p.m.; and two performances by the Quebec-based circus company 4Stomp at 3:15 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Weather permitting, a rainbow-colored piano will be placed on the grounds each morning to invite community members to play.
Additional nightly activities include bubble playtime by Michelle Hackett from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Local food trucks and Sazama’s Fine Catering will be on site starting at 4:30 p.m. A vendor marketplace will pop up from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Molly is a regular contributor to FOX6 News and numerous radio stations as well as the co-host of "Dandelions: A Podcast For Women.” She's received five Milwaukee Press Club Awards, served as the Pfister Narrator and is the Wisconsin State Fair’s Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Champion of 2019.
