After record-high December temperatures melted the ice at Red Arrow's outdoor rink, parks staff had to start from scratch on ice preparation.

If all goes according to plan, Slice of Ice at Red Arrow Park will open on Friday, Dec. 24 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The rink will also open on Saturday, De. 25 from 3 to 11 p.m. and then daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. until Saturday, Jan. 1.

Additional 2022 hours will be posted at www.sliceofice.com

No reservations are needed this season, and as usual, the rink is free for visitors with their own skates. Skate rentals are available for $9 (adults) and $7 (kids under 18).
