Hey, remember when the Olympics were this year? Just three months ago, the country and the globe cheered on the sassy interviews of Adam Rippon, delighted in snowboarder Chloe Kim's casual tweets about food in between gold-medal runs, debated whether or not Canadian figure skaters Scott Muir and Tessa Virtue were a pair beyond the ice (our take: THEY BETTER DAMN BE!) and had our souls moved and inspired by the greatest worst skier in Olympic history.

Well, this weekend you can relive it all – OK, just the ice skating part, aka the best part – with Stars On Ice, bringing some of the Olympics' most notable U.S. skaters to the UWM Panther Arena on Saturday, May 5.

Rippon, last seen busting out an absurdly good cha cha on the new athletes-only season of "Dancing with the Stars," will trade his ballroom shoes back in for his skates for the special exhibition show alongside best buddy, Olympian and "Dancing with the Stars" competitor Mirai Nagasu.

Quadruple jump king Nathan Chen will also take the ice at the UWM Panther Arena this weekend, along with beloved brother-sister ice dance duo Alex and Maia Shibutani, aka "The Shib Sibs." And speaking of popular pairs, 2014 Olympic ice dance gold medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White will swizzle their way into the Stars On Ice festivities as well.

Fellow U.S. skating stars Ashley Wagner, Jason Brown, Karen Chen and ice dance duo Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue round out the rest of the evening's lineup.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. skating show are currently on sale, starting at $25, at Ticketmaster.com, the UWM Panther Arena box office and over the phone at (800) 745-3000. For more information on the show, visit Stars On ice's official website.

OK, now let's watch that mesmerizingly mediocre skier again.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
