In honor of the team's 40th anniversary celebration, the Brewers Friday wore replica jerseys similar to those worn in the 1970s.
Retro jerseys are a regular part of the Brewers rotation, as the team wears its pinstriped, 1980s-inspired unis on the first Friday home game of each month.
The classic "ball-and-glove" logo is among the more popular and most recognized in baseball. Designed in 1978 by a UW-Eau Claire art student, the team retired the logo after the 1993 season.
In 2006, the Brewers brought the logo back, as a nod to the 25th anniversary of the 1982 American League championship team. They've worn them semi-regularly ever since.
Take a stroll through Miller Park and you're likely to find at least half the crowd sporting the throwback look. Apperal with the old logo is a hot, hot seller among the fans.
Players, though, have quietly made it known they prefer the team's current logo.
So we turn to you: should the Brewers ditch the logo and "live in the now," should they scrap the current logo and go back to the classics or come up with something entirely new.
You know the drill: the Talkback goes down below.
