It must be one heck of a night in Milwaukee tonight. I would love to be on Water Street and Brady street tonight! You're going to have a hard time getting people to leave the parking lot! All these things great!
This was one HELL of a game to watch. The atmosphere of Miller Park looked electric. The Milwaukee fans continue to look great on TV and represent the fandom of the Brewers well! There is just something in the eyes of the fans in Milwaukee, part rabid animal, part starved child, part kid right before they open there Christmas presents. That is a compliment. You guys make playing in Milwaukee special.
The Good:
Pitching. Aside from Axford not shutting the door, the pitching was good. Yo was not at the top of his game (a complement; he pitched well, I just think so highly of him) but was plenty good enough to earn a W (but didn't get) and lead his team to the next round. The bullpen looked good, too. Saito and K-Rod both set up the table for Ax man.
Braun. Ryan is white hot; this is huge for the Brew Crew. If it were not for him and Prince's presence in the middle of the line up this team would be packing up the clubhouse tonight.
The Concerning:
The Brewers still did not take advantage of the of the big inning. Milwaukee has advanced to the next round by getting the least amount of runs possible in all there scoring opportunities. Had the Brewers put together a couple big innings this series would have not been close. Axford not shutting the door COULD be a concern, but then again it could be a fluke. I wouldn't be too concerned about him he has been solid all year . He did get out of the jam and hold it together to get the win. He also threw 28 pitches with getting 20 strikes. That shows he has his command and as a closer that is what you need.
Looking Forward:
St. Louis has knocked off The Beast of the East Philadelphia Phillies. This will play well for the Brewers!! I love this match up. As you all are well aware this team hates each other.
MORE TO COME TOMORROW ...
Party gard Milwaukee. Enjoy the moment! It's yours, and no one can ever take it away from you!!

"Big Red" will cover baseball in a way only a player can, but he'll talk about other sports, too. The 6 foot, 6 inch flamethrower will write about life outside the game, too.
