There’s a new breakfast and brunch spot on Milwaukee’s East Side.
Ruta’s Vibrant Indian Cafe, located inside Crossroads Collective at 2238 N. Farwell Ave., has added a variety of breakfast options to its repertoire, giving guests the opportunity to start their days with a vibrant boost.
The new menu, which is available daily between 9 and 11 a.m., makes the East Side food hall a compelling choice for weekday breakfast on the go or a more relaxing weekend brunch with friends. Round out your options with bloody marys, mimosas or freshly pressed juices from the Pharmacy Bar, plus inventive coffee drinks from Discourse: A Liquid Workshop.
Ruta's current breakfast menu includes hot breakfast sandwiches, including one that showcases housemade Goan sausage, egg and cheese served up on a grilled English muffin. There's also Ruta’s signature grilled Eggwich featuring an English muffin piled high with Indian-spiced egg salad and melted cheddar cheese.
Meanwhile, a plant-based option features flavorful green hummus, grilled onions and pickled radishes. All sandwiches are also available made with gluten-free bread.
On the weekends, guests can also treat themselves to housemade bakery items. Feast your eyes on the options:

Guests can also take advantage of walk-up service, thanks to Ruta's take-out window, located right off of Ivanhoe.
