Brewers fans: You can take the field this summer! No, not because there's been so many injuries to the team that they resorting to starting random fans in the lineup – but because the team's Field of Sweet Dreams camping outing and Yoga on the Outfield yoga sessions are back for the 2023 season.

Returning for its 14th season on Saturday, July 29, Field of Sweet Dreams offers a camping trip unlike any other, allowing fans to pitch a tent under the stars and under the lights of American Family Field. During the on-field camping experience, fans of all ages will score visits from Bernie Brewer and the racing sausages, snack on dinner and drinks, watch the night's Brewers road game as well as a movie on the jumbotron – complete with movie eats – hit the playground and win raffle prizes throughout the night.

Tickets go on sale beginning today at the Brewers' website, with admission costing $150 for those 18 and older, $130 for those between the ages of 13 and 17, $90 for kids ages 3 to 12 and free for children younger than 3. For more rules and information on the camp outing, click here

If camping's not your thing, you can also get onto the field with the Brewers' yoga sessions. Hosted at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 15 and Saturday, Sept. 9, the one-hour sessions will take attendees through an all-levels yoga workout on the outfield grass – plus light snacks and water at the end along with a Brewers and Quartz-branded fitness item to take home with you.

Advance registration costs $15 and will be available beginning Monday, June 5 at the Brewers' website. For more information, click here

As for the team that actually plays on the field, the Crew are currently – despite everything – still in first place in the NL Central, battling the Toronto Blue Jays and Cincinnati Reds on the road this weekend before returning to Milwaukee for a three-game series next week against Baltimore Orioles. As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
